One of his eyes wasn't open at all. I used a little piece of wet warm paper towel and wiped until it opened. He is much smaller than the others. I also gave him a couple drops of sugar water.

Does he look like everything is formed correctly? That's just something on him from hatching right? I didn't want to get him wetter or hurt him if something wasn't formed correctly so I stopped wiping.

All 8 of the eggs have hatched now and my house is pretty cold, so I'll be leaving them in the incubator until morning. Is that ok?

This is only my second hatch so I'm still nervous and learning, thanks everyone!

I'm no expert on the eye issue (if indeed it turns out to be an issue)

It's fine to leave them in the incubator, but remember to turn down the humidity -they'll dry faster and be more comfortable

Thank you! It's just a cheap styrofoam one and I'm not adding any more water.

Ok, and if you have any air vents, keep those open - assuming your bator can keep a constant temp. If you are unsure, then leave it as it is.

It has 2 and I opened 1 when they started hatching, and the 2nd one once they all hatched. Thanks again, I really appreciate it!
