Does your chickens try to eat your toes?

HAH! So glad I am not the only one! They love my toes – I am forever telling them “no toe pecking!”

Not quite as bad but close is their desire to be dermatologists when they spy a freckle or shadow on your skin – “Ouch – you are not a Dr. – quick picking at me!”

mine do when I go visit inside the run also any freckels on my legs dang it and it hurts - had to lock them up the other day when I was working inside the run cause they were just waiting to pounce on me all of them hahah silly chickens

My animals have a conspiracy against me. I go out in the barn I have birds trying to eat my toes while goats are licking me or trying to tear my clothing off. I swear one day I won't make it out of the barn alive.

haha. I have one silkie that loves my toes!!! I think its histerical. I guess I would mind more if it was a big bird.... But I always and purposely stuck my feet in the brooder. LOL
They thought they were worms.

I will go straight up to a bird and wiggle my toes...

And I thought that they were thinking my toes were weiners! Which all my birds love. The peahen leaves my toes alone. The chickens will peck my toes, legs, sides ect. as will the turkeys. But they also get the lab. She's fine with it unless they are near her face. (Having turkeys occasionally get my lip or nose I understand!)The ducks rarely did more than nible at my feet. But I usually have toes covered.
They have taken ticks off of my legs so they probably think freckles are bugs too.
