So, the other day I was training my dog outside. We where doing our usual commands, when I dropped a treat. My chickens are very curious and friendly, so Tammy decided to investigate what I had dropped. My dog went to bite her because for some reason he thought her beak could take a dog treat that big.
Luckily, I pushed him out of the way in time, but now poor little Tammy’s terrified of humans and dogs alike.
I’ve just sat out there, holding a few treats, trying to make myself look a little more her size (it’s not hard), in hope, she’ll get used to my presence and return to her happy-go-lucky chicken self. Is there anything else I can do?
