Dog attack, 1 duck dead 1 with injuries need advice.

Its so odd no wounds any where. I'm thinking brushing or strain, maybe sprain. Nothing open to get infected. My vet didn't even know what to use as pain meds( they are looking it up for me) any way the remaining healthy drake is showing some aggression to the injured boy so I may need to move him. Arg, the two I have where actually to be butchered soon, the one that died was my breeder. Now I'm just really stressed about it all, the more I care for the injured bird the more attached I get, but the obvious choice for new breeder is the healthy one.... Sorry if this is offensive I know many of you keep your ducks as pets.

We butchered ours,we know how it feels. And they were beautiful ducks too.

No real change today, but the vet said he can have Advil so we will give it a go and see if he can walk tomorrow.

He's starting to walk a little, seems he will heal in time.

He's walking today favouring the one leg but recovering well. I'm very happy, that's one tough duck.
