Dog attack, now lethargic chick

We have some 3 day old chicks. The neighbor terrier got in our porch today and got to them, I think just before we saw him. 2 birds got flipped into their water, one was on her back and one was already out when we got to her. Dried and warmed them both. One is jumping and peeping like normal, but the other is really lethargic. She keeps falling asleep standing up. Every once in a while, she gets motivated and runs around, but then she's back to being tired. I don't think she's eating or drinking. I put sugar in their water and gave her some in a dropper. Any thoughts? I figure I probably just need to wait, but she's the polish I've wanted forever, plus I hope this little peeper isn't in distress...

my chick didn't get attacked by a dog but this same thing happened to my chick for the last 2 days, she started to act normal again but then died this morning. the chick prolly got stomped on by the dog and has internal damage. I'm sorry to hear this. kinda sucks. im a bit traumatized atm myself as mine died in my hands this morning. it sucks because mine was the black star i been wanting and the lady said it was the only one they had, so now i can't even replace her. hope yours will pull through.

Unfortunately, we lost her later that night. She also died in my hands...it's so hard. Fortunately the store still had another golden polish from the same order, but I still feel really bad.

hang in there. I'm feeling the same. thats good you got another. i don't think i can do that yet. i doubt i'll get any sleep tonight. not only the chick died but alot of other things have went bad this week so i'm trying to deal with it and ill be ok just that was the topper on the poisoned apple :/
