The stitches are at the very top of the wound, I only got a few in before I realized it would be too much area to cover. I’ll remove them though, but the rest of the wound is still open so there is a lot of air. I may have wound dust, I bought something last weekend so I’ll read what exactly it is. It’s a powder for sure, something for ears and eyes. I have a few sprays for animals at least, so hopefully I am on the right trackRemove her from the flock and the chihuahua remove the stitches it will only hold infection. Get some wound dust and anti infection spray and make sure she isn't ate in alive
Yep, she’s in a crate inside. I’ll check out the sutures in the morning after she’s rested a bit. Poor girl. I keep waking her up to give her a little water every so often.The triple antibiotic ointment is a better treatment .. yes remove the sutures .. do you have a dog crate she could rest in ? Shock is your friend right now ... leave the skin loose for now
