"Hurry! I will block the back way!" Barked Scourge as Pippin hurriedly dug deeper in to the hole. She ran around A 1\9 of a mile and guarded the hole. Pain stabbed through her stomach and she whined loudly. Laying down she sniffed her stomach. Uh -oh! I know that smell!
She sniffed again as she let out another louder whine. Holly cocked her head as she watched the rabbit slip past the dark lump curled on the ground. When Holly reached her ; Scourge was curled in a large black ball under the scorching mid-morning heat. "I think I am having the pups!" she whined through the panting. She looked Beseechingly at Nessa,Holly and Pippin. "Help!"
 
"Oh my gosh!" Holly sat there looking at her queen and completely forgot about the rabbit that ran a few inches from her paws. "What should I do?!?!" She stared frightened at the other dogs.

Since Pippin is a female can my new dog be the King? (If I can make a new dog.)

Nessa immediately took control. She had helped many dogs give birth. "Breathe scrouge! Breathe!" She instructed. She lick the queen in encouragement. "you can do it."
 
Holly stepped back and watched Nessa, completely in control. She looked at Nessa, and thought of her own puppies which were due very soon.
