Hard to choose isn't it.
I go for dogs that match my energy....that means more active and interactive dogs.
I am partial to terriers.....American Staffordshire is a particular favorite.
Stubborn?...I wouldn't know what to do if mine weren't.
My pitsky is a perfect match for me.

Bouncy, happy, stubborn, loves to play, and has eyes worthy of the best teddy bear out there.
Yes it is very hard to choose!
Your dog sounds amazing and is very pretty.
I do love the terriers and bully breeds and Staffies are awesome.
But I think they’re a bit big/strong for me atm haha trying to go a little bit smaller but not too small lol
Also, my family doesn’t like pits or rotties or anything like that
But maybe one day I’ll get one.
I still don’t know if I even want a Golden or Aussie or if even those are too big for me haha
I have about a million breeds I would love to try and can’t decide on any of them.![]()
They can be quite strong.
The one I posted....my Sable....she is just 60 pounds and our smallest dog by far. Well she will be once the puppy grows up.
Train early and train consistently is my advice on any dog.![]()
Well I am personally inclined towards Great Danes as I have had them my entire life. We have a 7 month old named Wilbur
My husband tries to undo all my training too, but thankfully my dogs always defer to me for their guidance.I can imagine! My brother’s dogs are crazy strong even though they’re not that big. They’re not pits or anything though but still. They can be surprisingly strong haha
Funny thing is one is super gentle and you barely feel him if/when he jumps up but he pulls HARD when he wants to
And oh wow she’s your smallest!?![]()
And good advice! I love training so won’t be a problem there.
My dad on the other hand.... horrible with dogs. :/
Undid all my training on the last dog and thought all my rules were “mean”
Thankfully the dog listened to me and I loved him but he basically just didn’t whatever he wanted and it was horrible.
My brother’s dogs on the other hand are super well trained and it’s so nice and so much different haha
I’m definitely a believer in training.
But not just house manners and obedience and stuff. I love teaching tricks and doing training games and just all kinds of weird/fun stuff haha
My husband tries to undo all my training too, but thankfully my dogs always defer to me for their guidance.![]()
