Consistency.....challenging when one says this and the other says that.
:barnie

My dogs have all been trained to ignore someone when they speak rudely...

For example....
"MOVE" as opposed to "excuse me".

Yeah, definitely very challenging! And made training pretty much impossible. :barnie

But I got him to listen to me and I got him trained pretty advanced actually despite that hah

Just was still stealing stuff at 6 and little stuff like that ha

And :lau OMG that’s amazing!!!

The best part is watching peoples faces that come to visit.....and are rude to the dog. :lau
More than one has been told they have to be polite....and it took them a few minutes to figure out how. :hmm
I trained that into the first dog to help train it into my kids. She taught the next and so on and so on. :p

OMG!!! That is hilarious and amazing!! I need to try that with my next dog. :lau

Or maybe “please move” maybe don’t respond unless they say please. :lau

My grown son was just teaching the bloodhound puppy to drink from the kitchen faucet. :hmm

Yeah that will be fun....since I am trying to train her to STAY OFF THE FREAKING COUNTER!
:barnie:he:barnie

Yes at 17 WEEKS old she can easily reach to drink from the faucet. :th

:lau oh boy!! That’ll be fun when she starts counter surfing lol
