Another hen just came in to be found on roost, so up to six that made it back. That make so about 1/3 will be left if no more show. Most are missing feathers, one is running about with a very naked back side and another got at least one crushing bite to body, but she may make it.
When I got home to put birds in yard up and dogs exercised, I could hear male neighbor trying to retrieve one of the dogs. Location of dog not known to me but voice of neighbor makes me think it was on my property. Signs up now so neighbor likely knows he cannot dispute his awareness of trespassing concerns I have. The guy is exhibiting a range of behaviors, very nice to the point of being sweet in person, very aggressive in tone when in the presence of friends, and pleading when trying to get his dogs to come home. As he got dog back in, I could hear dog fighting so the dogs may be confined too tightly. I still think he is too tight on resources for that many dogs.
At moment I am not perfect either. My dogs that were confined to barn and kennel on front porch during day are now be housed in garage together and squabbling as I type.
