Sometimes you have to consider the quality of life and animal has. It's really hard, but if she can't walk and has no prospect of being able to walk, you may have to consider alternatives.

That said, if she's still recovering, you could get some chicks or something to keep her company? If they grow up around her, they may be gentler to her.

Well, she made it ....good for her. Tomtomom had a good idea with the chicks with her.
I would try a pet carrier small one with her in it and open the door so she can get in and out as best she can.
Your idea of the squirt bottle is really good. I would do that. I have had to be the rooster/hen and protect .
The one thing that helped my little Dottie was when she had baby chicks, she can now eat at the same bowl as the top hens.
She is size of a fluffy pidgeon but she rules.

I have tried putting Princess back into the flock and the girls are just so mean when they are feather to feather beak to beak. Through the wire of her window they are much gentler. But I wanted them to be cooped together for the winter but I am not sure it will happen. . Her comb is very premature too. I guess from the set back of the injury. She looks much younger than she is. I wish there was more I could do for her but I am at the maximum number of birds for my city ordinance so chicks are out of the question. . She seems happy though. She pecks and clucks and sings to me when I am out there with the girls!

How about giving princess meat in front of the girls. Only she gets the tasty tidbits. Every day several times a day. Only her. I would try this if she were my girl.
I hold some of them on my lap and sing. They see this.
Can they roam in the yard.
I had some that were too much together, and I ALMOST witnessed a murder among them. Those are gone, pronto as of yesterday.

They will see her as special. The Mother/rooster giving her special attention.
chunks of burger or cheese. IN the same pen. Maybe to make her look like top hen.
It seems my favorites get the bits that are special. meat, cheese, fish.
I am not an expert but I try different things to see if it works.
I truly hope she will find her place in the flock. Seems really to take awhile tho.

I will try anything. Even if she has to be different I want her accepted. She is looking a but better in her comb. It is still much smaller than her sister sexlink and it is paler but she did do a lot of healing so maybe she is just behind due to healing?

Have you tried taking out one of the more docile hens and pairing the two together? Or take out the most aggressive hen for a couple of days,this may help change the dynamics of the pecking order.

I do have an EE that is lower in the order I might could put her with Princess. I actually had her (P) out of her coop/run and in the yard. She is still flapping to get around but moving rather well.
