Dog thread!🐾

I gotta ask whos non herding dog acts like they would herd?
Tucker stalks me, always lurking behind a corner or right behind my feet. He herds the jolly ball, and kong jumbler .

Also recently he plays with the flirt pole very differently catching the toy then putting it under his paw, then shaking it vigorously. And searching under rocks outside(i believe a rabbit nest. )

I love his quirks, just dont know where he learned them or got them in his genetics.

Of course fetching and bird watching/chasing are still there but thats what he was bred for.
Willow has always just automatically knew how to run the goats in...I don't know if I'd classify it as herding though as she just chases them into their shed. It's very helpful when they get out. She always leaves them alone once they are in

But she is a guardian breed so i could certainly see that.
Tucker actually herds the ball from one end of the room to the other. 😂

Maybe i should try some fenced herding with him

Got both pups a walk in today. It was 50 degrees with sun!
Then some inside fetch.
Outside is all mud. So i have a small tote with water everytime to clean paws. I forgot the paw wipes earlier.

Only bad part was someones tiny off lead doodle came at Tucker. I have a quick reaction time. He didnt react a lot. But i picked him up and walked the other way.
Well the owner sat on her porch yelling the dogs name
