Dog thread!🐾

Mix of happy and not super happy with this morning.
Went to a vax clinic today, which was supposed to open its doors at ten and be a "first come" sort of thing, but I wasn't too worried. Until we got there ten minutes early and there were over 100 dogs already lined up. 💀 We parked, got out of the car. I figured I would give him the opportunity to scout it out, and not force anything. A few seconds after getting out, a leashed dog, twenty feet away, started lunging and barking at him. (Woohoo, definitely how you want him to meet other dogs). He shied a bit and tried to go back to his car door, so, I calmed him on the ground while the other dog was dragged away, and I picked him up, where he was much more comfortable. I carried him to a tree about fifty feet from the line and just let him chill on my lap. He was trembling a good bit, so when he relaxed after a couple of minutes of hiding in my lap, I took him right back to the car. We can pay for vaccines, and him having a good view of other dogs and a stable idea of leaving the house is more important than saving a hundred bucks on vax and microchipping. Of course I absolutely don't want his first trip out to be a bad experience, and I don't want him to remember going out as a bad thing. Since he had already had his Distemper and his basic first shots (he needs Rabies and some additional rounds of things, I think), I felt comfortable bringing him to a local farm store that is very pet friendly. This is the part I'm happy about. He did super great, and I hope I salvaged what could have been a bad memory. He absolutely loved meeting people, and they were very chill when he had an accident (he refused to go outside, too much new stuff, understandably). He walked around, was a little nervous around other dogs (which I hope is because he has never met other dogs, and not because of that one in the parking lot but I will be careful in the future), but really did great and even seemed interested in a sweet old service dog with a friendly old owner, so I was glad he was a bit less scared. He picked out a treat and a toy, and we went home. I am very proud of him, and glad the morning turned out better than it could have. Still, wish certain things could have been avoided, but we are both learning.

Right before he went to be naughty and start demand barking 🤦‍♀️

Tucker has so much energy no matter what. And he had mellowed out for a bit and now is back in full energy mode. Walks do nothing, he gets mind enrichment(which really does nothing). He knows to settle but gets restless.
Fetch helps, but for like 20 minutes.
Trick training helps but he needs new tricks as new tricks work him more.
So i need more trick ideas
He knows sit, down, stay, heel, come, leave it, focus, paw, retrieve, release, get it(grabbing a object), spin(right and left), wave, high five, salute(like shy), pray, bow, over, under, around(going out around a object), orbit(circle around me), middle, weave, pose(two paws on object), stack(show stand) place and jump.
We are working on roll over he knows it but doesnt do it on command.
I might be missing a few but i need more ideas.
