Yesterday was 70 and the pups spent the afternoon outside i love our fully fenced in yard. Tucker thinks the pond is a swimming pool though.
Then today is was 60 so they birdwatched for 20 minutes got brushed and both got a walk.

I dont know what it is. He literally stands around the corner staring at me or a toy then comes running up behind

Bird stalking is different he waits, somtimes points then either runs after the bird or continue stalking

Mud is starting to dry out here. Starting to get too warm for me. Walks are nicer without the snow.

The mud drying out is amazing along with the warm weather ! I dont think i could continue muddy paws every time they were outside

This dog is definitely bored. Immediately going after everything to get in trouble the moment he comes out of the crate, he has more energy as he grows. We are going to try to clean up the dog run this coming week so he can get more time outside without me having to run after him (because I can't, lol), but still watching of course. I know he isn't getting enough active time, so this is at the very top of my list of things to do. I got a pinecone toy that I can freeze pumpkin into, so also in the next week if I make something with our big cans of pumpkin puree, I can give him a little so that his system can get used to it before I give it as a frozen lick spread. We are making progress in the ways we can! It's definitely a little difficult with my chronic whatnot, but I'm still glad to do what I can. Bending over to play tug isn't my favorite, but I think it's his.

This week he learned how to load into a plastic travel kennel, and also learned how to climb into the low Lincoln car to load! The car was the bigger success, because he's a little afraid of ups, and especially downs. He has figured out how to climb to the floor before hopping up to the seat or down to the ground.
This weekend there is a vaccination clinic so we will get what shots we can at this age, which I really hope will allow him to be off our property!
