Am I the only one that is rural and can just walk their dogs freely around their property? I couldn't imagine having to leash them all.

You are not the only one. But I don't usually let Luna off leash in the summertime because all she wants to do is find something nasty/poisonous to eat or roll in. Dorie does get off leash time though.

We have a large yard a bit over 1/2 but due to one neighbor cant let the dogs offlead.
if i walk just 2 blocks away there is a large park that is barely used and i can let them run.

We are not rural but used to have a fenced yard which was nice. Not anymore LOL had some yard and tree work done several months ago and they took most of it down to get to some areas. at our old house, we were set back on almost 3 acres in the woods so we used to hike the woods around our house with the e collar. That was nice LOL we were also within walking distance of several walking/hiking areas so we used to go to those all the time as well and mix it up LOL we weren’t even rural at all but our house was left when they built around us lmao anyways, now there’s only one trail/field nearby and it has tons of off leash dogs usually so we haven’t been in a while LOL I used to let him play with them all the time but it makes me nervous now LOL we do have a really nice neighborhood for walking now though LOL so that’s nice at least. but it sucks having to leash him up every time LOL and running into other dogs lmao
