Day 2 of using a slow feeder with Wizard. Slowed him for about 30 seconds before he got sick of this game, picked up the bowl and walked around till everything fell out...
I think we might need a different one.

To smart. I dont know if you can get Kong products in Australia but the kong gyro works great. The only slow feeder ive got to slow Tucker down. And it takes him 20 minutes instead of 2

I think I may actually have one of those I just haven't used with any of the dogs yet. I do also have a wobbler too I think. I needed something to slow him down with wet food too but I think he's just going to have to use a couple, like one of those + a lick mat or something.
I don't need him to eat super slow, I've just gotten super worried about him choking or something cause he's gotten really bad.

Next trick im teaching is to press a button that sends a alert to a family member. Mainly for if i have a medical episode and nobody is around.

I use the kong gyro for his kibble and a lick mat or the woof pupsicle for wet food/supplements. Ive started supplements and plan to add more. Tucker does choke on food if he eat it in a regular bowl

I think it's going to be a bit of trial and error. I'll find something that works. Him tipping it out all over the grass did help anyway I might even just try a snuffle mat too.
I had a single chicken neck the other day and cause both Misty and Wizard were in the house I cut it in half so they could both have some. Wizard lost his mind and swallowed it whole I was like, that's not ok I gave them kangaroo rib chews the other night and made sure to give him a really big one so he actually realized in time that he needed to chew it.

Tucker tips over puzzle toys that have little compartments, so i opt for something he has to move. Snuffle mats work. I kinda forgot i had one

79.5lbs. Originally it was like 80.3lbs but then she read last year’s weight and it was only like 73.4lbs so then she wanted to redo it, probably because it didn’t sound right but she didn’t say that LOL, so we did and she said 79.5lbs was much better.

But that’s still up 6lbs from last year. Dang.
