Have you guys heard of the new dog illness? I think its only in Canada and the USA at the moment I am really hoping it doesn’t spread to other countries

That article is a little older now. 6 days. I think there’s newer ones and they’ve possibly identified it now but yeah.

I hope so too!! I’m terrified and I see some people being like oh don’t worry it’s not that bad or it’s just kennel cough but like… no it’s not. I’ve seen people spend $10,000 and the dog didn’t even live. From the pneumonia they get from it.

It starts as a cough except it doesn’t go away. And can progress into pneumonia. And can progress to severe pneumonia and death.

I have seen a few posts of peoples dogs who have died from it. Its really scary for the assistance dog community

Yeah it’s terrifying. Even for pet dog people. But also show and sports dogs too.

I heard that it’s a thing didn’t go deep into researching but we are watching our dogs closely and small symptom of it straight to the vet don’t wanna play around with it.
