Dog thread!🐾

Denver has been walking with slight limp all day
And it was after i jumped her twice and took her on a walk

Called the vet and they said no jumps and limited activity until our appointment 😞
Oh no...I hope it's not serious. Nowadays I feel a slight panic if my dog starts to limp.

Sorry, I had to.

Back,
But she has been favoring her back paw to.
Im hoping its not tick disease
Tick diseases is usually a shifting leg limp. Usually the front ones, but not always. My one dog suddenly couldn't even put her back right leg down. I started her on antibiotics and in two days she was right as rain again. Luckily I can just call and get antibiotics any time I need them. If they respond within the first week than I treat for the month. It's like an epidemic here.

Yikes. That can't be good for their tummies. Don't the antibiotics stop working if they're used too much?

Is she tapping that foot (like moving it up and down constantly)?
Licking it constantly, and lifting it a lot
I check her paws and body after each walk or time outside for objects or ticks.
She has always had cracked paws so we do apply a lotion as otherwise they dry out.
I thought maybe that was why at first. But its gotten worse
