Yeah, I like them too. Just much too big and stinky for me. I am by no means a clean freak, but I've been spoiled with dogs with low-odor and low-oil coats and I can't go back.

I don’t remember our last Lab and our Lab mix with thicker Lab coat having an odor but I was younger then LOL Brew has a short pittie coat LOL and doesn’t smell. And no oil. I would get another bully but I’m terrified of having two bully breeds at once.

When you're living with a dog with a strong dog smell you get used to it. When I had the Boxer and Lab mix I used to come back to the house after being away for a while and the dog smell was strong. I don't smell that anymore, except for maybe on Luna's bed.

My chiropractor had a Lab and his coat (and breath) reeked and petting his oily coat was very unpleasant to me. They are supposed to have an oily waterproof coat. The more oily their coat the stinkier they are, I think.

That makes sense haha but oh wow that’s disgusting lol plus they’re shed monsters. I once had someone say they were low shedding and it was SO HARD not to bust out laughing. They genuinely didn’t know so I didn’t but dang. Dog hair is a non optional condiment when you own a Lab LOL and it weaves into the fabric of your couch and everything you own

Same here! Molly (the lab mix) passed in 2018 and I'm sure there's still more of her hair somewhere.

I couldn't figure out why is smelled weird but I guess it does make sense, he's super hard to get wet
