We actually had a lab years ago that was akc listed as Champagne Cream. She came through the rescue that I volunteered for which was a puppy mill reject rescue. She had double pneumonia among other issues. As her foster parents, it took us almost 9 months to get her healthy. Well, in that time we fell in love with her so we adopted her. She was gorgeous. All white and definitely the full lab look with the english boxy head. Riddled with health issues all her short life of only six years. I saw so many mixes and crosses and things that should have never been volunteering for the rescue. The things back yard breeders do with dogs is really unconscionable.Just light colored yellow labs.
Thank you though!
I think the whole champagne cream thing is one of those designer dog sales tactics or something. I have only heard the term a couple times. I know champagne is usually a term for the dilute gene like silver and charcoal. Purebred labs don't carry any dilute genes, and any that do are crosses, usually with Weims.
Yellow labs can vary a ton though, from the almost white to dark fox red. All are still considered yellow.
Awwwww congrats!!!!!!!!!I got first place in rally with Oakley and second in rally with willow!
Yay! Iām surprised Oakley did better than Willow! Picture NOW
Pics coming soon, we have a friend collecting my ribbons since we had to leave. Thanks! Actually Oakley learned one of the signs five minutes before we went into the ringAwesome work! Oakley must learn quickly!
