Yeah I don't like that, I worry for Oakley since he was done at 4 months

I agree.
My aunts youngest rescue was spayed at 8 weeks.

Even though I’ve seen pyometra many times, I personally wouldn’t really worry about it. I know the spay is riskier when they have it, but they rarely die.

To clarity, our dog that dog it was extremely old and we didn’t catch it early. So she was a lot worse.

My neighbors dog is getting spayed on Wednesday, she's a 5 lbs pomeranian tho, a little over a year

The one reason i dont like rescues/humane societies is how early they fix the dogs
