Dog thread!🐾

So we moved over the weekend. Our old place had wood floors(not real wood) our new place has carpet(it will be changed to wood). But Saturday night they were good. We were getting low on food so they have been getting rice, turkey/hamburger, eggs and a fruit or vegetable with some of their normal kibble. Im slowly transitioning them on to a different kibble. But Sunday i noticed Denver was chewing her back left paw and she has continued and now its all red. Allergy medicines havent helped yet.
Can dogs be allergic to carpet?
The only different thing is rhe rice i was feeding was a different brand then normal. I changed that back ro the other brand.
Im careful what rice i feed because Tucker has reactions to some to.

Most allergies are contact allergies, so anything in the new home, or yard can be suspect.

Aussies are a protective breed of dog. They aren't always on like a German shepherd, but do step up the minute something is amiss. Boxers too are like that. I guess both breeds are like a killer clown.

I remember being young and scrawny too. :gig
Killer clown :lau :gig :lau

And OMG 🤣😭 me too TBH LOL
But pit bulls don't scare you? 🤔
:lau nahhhh. I mean, I know they can be protective too and Brew is sometimes but 99% of the time he loves everyone LOL
Im not scared of any dogs. Bully type looking dogs use to scare me but ive met a few nice ones and know dog body language. No dog scares me unless they are loose and aggressive.
Yeah that makes sense. I’ve been circled and snapped at by a GSD before lol

The only dogs that snapped /bit me was my aunts cocker spaniel who was blind and going deaf. Then my grandparents shiz tzu(he has bit and snapped multiple times)

I got bit by a small mix as a kid, than a nutty schnauzer got me, and an American water spaniel, than a golden retriever with undiagnosed lymes, and probably something else in there. Grooming dogs is a contact sport. Glad I retired.
