curious whats her coat like to brush? Does it mat very quickly?

Right now it’s matted soooo bad I don’t know what to do, and the groomers are all booked out till August.

scissors or clippers and shave her. Do you brush her in between groomer visits?

If you have any specific grooming question you can ask them her we might be able to help

Well Golden Retrievers are amazing! Even though they do misbehave every once in a while theyvare still so good

I couldn't imagine matted fur on my 2 Goldens.. in brushing daily at this point.

I agree with @SpotTheCat. Try and trim her yourself and in between grooms, definitely brush her. (I've never had a dog that needed much grooming, but I watch a professional groomer's videos all the time, so hopefully my advice is somewhat educated... )

How did everyone's dogs do with fireworks? Buz was okay, the only part he didn't like was that I was outside without him. Uki's a total spaz and stresses so bad unless my mom stays inside with her.

I agree with @SpotTheCat. Try and trim her yourself and in between grooms, definitely brush her. (I've never had a dog that needed much grooming, but I watch a professional groomer's videos all the time, so hopefully my advice is somewhat educated... )

And when brushing you need to brush all the way down to the skin

Same, but Buddy is TOTALLY OK with fireworks. Doesn't get nervous or stressed or even phased at all. I actually am more scared of fireworks than him

I can’t remember what Twiggy and Fanta are like. Don’t think there are any close to us anymore. Lulu is scared of fireworks but her hearing has gone so much in the past few years that she can’t hear them anymore

Brew barked a little bit but then was fine lol mostly barked at the bigger, louder ones.
