Yeah but he’s tiny lol he’s like the size of a 30-40 lb dog lol he should be like 60 or at least 65. He’s 68 now I think, was hard to read while holding him lol he looks more fat in person lol

Tucker looks like a giant dog in pictures but he is so tiny.
Its so hard to read the scale while holding them. Luckily our vet lets us bring them in and weigh them whenever.

Yes he does. He weighs close to 70 lbs

He looks a bit too plump to me . Go by ribs and spine not weight,(unless you know his healthy weight) dogs can have a massive difference in the weight they could be while being the same height!



it annoys me no end (not you Dawg) when people say their dogs is fat because it is above the average of the breed, its a average

Like how our vet thinks Denver is fat yet i can feel her ribs. Just because she is 80lbs. There has been 100lb Golden Retrievers and they are perfect weight.

It goes along with many other breeds. Its not that they are fat its just because they are above breed standard weight.

And they expect the same waist/tuck regardless of the type of dog! same issue with ours cats and the vets, they don’t think I cat should be other 6kg

6kg? There is cat breeds bigger than that and smaller.
Edit to add: isnt 6kgs 13 lbs?

We have 2 cats that are a third ragdoll they weigh about 7-8kg

A friend of ours has a ragdoll that weighs 14.5 lbs and they dont consider her overweight but she is huge not like fat huge but like long and tall.
Then they have a tabby that is 13lbs but she is diabetic and its hard for them to keep her at a certain weight.
