Yeah there’s definitely a lot of lab/bully mixes in shelters. And bully breeds in general. It’s sad.

Yeah. A relative of mine has 3 rescues all where abandoned as puppies and each have their own unique personality. Her bully breed is the only one that had a bad history they think she was abused by men as she is terrified of them. With some training she is ok, but its sad.

Then another relative rescued a yorkie that was thrown out of a moving vehicle.

I would love to foster dogs but there is so many rules

We rarely have doodles in the shelters here lol it’s all bully breeds and labs mixes. And hounds lol sometimes herding mixes. Our town is pretty large so impossible to know all the dogs lol

Our town has less than 500 people as of 2015. Its mostly people that have lived here their whole lives. But there is new comers.

That’s really sad! And yeah there’s definitely a lot of rules. Although some are better than others. I always wanted to puppy raise for a guide dog foundation but there’s a lot of rules there too

Our town has less than 500 people as of 2015. It’s mostly people that have lived here their whole lives. But there is new comers.

Oh wow that’s tiny lol I looked it up and ours is 13,708 as of the 2020 census. And we’re right on the border of another town where we used to live and there’s a field we walk that’s in both towns. That town is 16,090 people. Then as if that’s not big enough, the town my Clubhouse I go to is in is 61,217. Sooooo…. Impossible to know everybody LOL

Ahhh okay. That stinks. Some of them thought I feel like just say that but then if you actually talk to them they might relax it especially if you can leash walk or whatever. They desperately need fosters so they’ll probably be more lenient. We have a fenced yard and could foster but my family wouldn’t let me probably so yeah.

Our counties humane society will let you foster as long as you can show them that the pups have proper room and that they get proper exercise. But lately its been dogs that arent ok with other dogs so that wont work.

Yeah it’s a lot but it doesn’t feel like too many like we still have tons of trees and open areas and it feels rural to me LOL the biggest town though does have a lot of stores and stuff but even that is spread out so there’s a lot of open land too and they’re all right to farm. I could never live in like downtown Boston or anything LOL we’re like 40 mins out.
