Your dogs have too engage other wise they are punishedCall it what you will and you donāt have to agree but my dogs DO NOT shut down during training but they engage more often, pay closer attention. So what if itās outdated? It works
Iāll definitely try and get one for youVideo?
Look, thatās not whatās happening, almost all my dogs were corrected ONE TIME and since then they heel nicely. Itās not a constant fear the dogs are in, itās respect, humans and dogs are not equal, one needs to be above the other and personally, Iām not ok with my dog walking meā¦Iāve seen cases with people getting REALLY hurt by their dogs pulling uncontrollably (dogs that give no mind to treats) and one or two of this type of correction had them paying closer attention. Iāve said my part but treats donāt always work.Your dogs have too engage other wise they are punished
it working really depends what you want, if your only goal is a dog that listens to you no matter what ignoring their health then yes it works
Why does that correction work? If you donāt use a reward why is your dog heeling?Look, thatās not whatās happening, almost all my dogs were corrected ONE TIME and since then they heel nicely. Look Iāve already said my price and donāt intend to engage further and get BANNED again for stupid stuff I was blamed for and never did. Iāll try to get you a video if I can but no guarantees because, after all, you are just another user in another part of the world and I donāt owe you anythingWhy does that correction work? If you donāt use a reward why is your dog heeling?
I donāt mind people who use aversive in their training, I do mind harmful information claiming you method works with all dogs and trying to teach people how to use aversive methods over the internet like this, is harmful
not to mention I am pretty sure that is a terrible method that any good dog trainer would never recommend
Some things arenāt just a different opinion, sometimes you need to do more research to see if you are in fact wrong or notAnd please bear in mind I say NONE of this spitefully or with an attitude. Im GLAD we share our different opinions and hope we continue to!![]()
Some dogs just like to work and donāt need cookies for everything. Others maybe do.Some things arenāt just a different opinion, sometimes you need to do more research to see if you are in fact wrong or not
I generally do want an answer to why you think the dog is behaving with out a reward but if you donāt want to answer that its fine
you donāt owe me the video but with out it I unfortunately just have to guess how the dog is behaving
I donāt think any dog has 0 food drive but by rewards I mean toys, praise, treats etc (I find praise isnāt enough to actually teach a new behaviour (unless the behaviour is rewarding) but thats just my experience)Some dogs just like to work and donāt need cookies for everything. Others maybe do.
