Its took Denver 4 months to loose 5lbs.

It took forever.
I want her to be atleast 78lbs before we back off and maintain her weight at that.
This way she could gain 2 lbs without being overweight.
Her mom weighed 75lbs and her dad was around 82.
Denvers siblings weight 75-80lbs. So its nice to know what weight she should be at.

Just keep working, brew will eventually get there!

Yeah that is good to know. I wish I knew about Brews family! I saw his siblings picking him up but know nothing outside of that.

And thanks!!! I hope so!! I’m thinking he needs to lose like 10. So based on yours it could take us like 8 months to a year

I could have made it go faster. But i wanted 1 lb or a little more a month. And by cutting down the calories but adding in the veggies. Plus the walks and runs helped.
You could aim for 2 lbs a month, and i think that it would still be healthy

Ohhhh okay that’s good to know. Thanks!! That’s still like 5 months though!! and I read the sniffing walks aren’t good. They need to be fast, sweating within a few minutes, weight loss walks. both of us are gonna HATE that. LOL our walks are for his enrichment.

That was the hardest part. I learned not to walk on sidewalks and to walk on roads. Cause Denver sniffs and rolls everywhere

Yeah I’ll have to walk in the middle of the street and also walk fast and say no and gently tug him/stop him from sniffing and also go the long way instead of our short loop. We can do the long way in 20 mins if we walk fast or the short loop in 20 if we sniff. LOL well, if HE sniffs lmao

With sniffing our 1 mile wall takes a hour without its like 28 minutes lol
