Dog thread!🐾

I have a lot of different patches that I can use, including an "in training" set.
Is it illegal everywhere to use "service dog" patches on a not certified pupper?
I dont have any patches yet

I dont think its illegal, but mine are not registered service dogs and i wont be taking them into stores, until i train them to be my service dog.

My patch says service dog in training so technically I'm not saying she's a service dog, I use it to take her to Walmart or other places that don't allow dogs usally. Only 1 person gave me a problem and it was at a outdoor festival 🙄 and another person at a dollar tree asked what she was being trained for and like interrogating me, he didn't work there and seemed like a creep tbh.

I wasn't gonna, and it's illegal here anyway. I was just asking if it's illegal where you all live as well. 🙃 Besides, the police know me too well for me to do this 😂
Many countries do not require any type of certificate
Ah, I see. I think it's illegal for people to ask if a dog labeled as a service dog is actually a service dog, but maybe I'm wrong.
I haven't heard of that being a law anywhere
I don't think so, at least not here, again it says thar she's in training. When she gets therapy dog certified I'm gonna switch to that, I don't think the dummies around here know the difference or care lol they'll see a red vest and be like whatever
I used to agree with the if they behave well I don't really mind but I don't any longer.

Your presence can actually be dangerous for AD/SD handlers! Not to mention it is illegal. What you are doing is not a small thing, AD/SDs are there to save lives and allow people to live an anywhere normal life, treating it as a joke and nothing important is what makes it harder to get people to understand, they are not pets ,they are auxiliary aids

Unless you have and AD/SD you won't understand how scary seeing another dog is. Many AD/SD have needed to be retired because of attacks from dogs in none pet friendly shops!

I definitely don't take AD/SD or their handlers as a joke! Please don't take it like that, I have a lot of respect for both of them as it is necessary and lifesaving work those dogs do.
Also it sounds like i take her to every place i go here but It's not very often I do take her into non pet friendly places (I've almost stopped since she's older now).
