Yeah, she's not a bad weight, obviously, but I probably wouldn't want her to gain any more. She might look better at ~19.5lbs.

I think she looks ok at her weight, but pictures can always be decieving, if you feel she is overweight start by making her loose half a lb to a lb and

Alright, I took her down from 1.5 to 1.3 cups of food a few weeks ago so I probably need to exercise her more.

Does Gypsy look to be a healthy weight? She weighs 20.2 lbs but you can't really feel her ribs.View attachment 3788693

I think she looks perfect, but I'm biased. I think Boston's look best with just a bit of weight. I saw a thin one at the vet today and it didn't look right to me.

How about this lanky thing? I just weighed her and she is 19lbs. on the dot. This is her ideal weight. Her ribs have a small amount of padding, her abdomen is tucked, and her waste is visible.

You can also adjust the amount depending on her activity. On the days when Dorie doesn't get much exercise or she had more treats, I give her slightly less than her normal amount of food in the evening.

Mine never get a full amount of food at meal times because i always do training sessions with their food or subtract for treats

That's a good idea, I'll admit I've been doing horrible about exercising her.
