The most affordable are gonna be the big 5 (Purina, Iams, Eukanuba, Royal Canin, Hills Science Diet) but I know a lot of people have issues with them plus RC and SD are pretty pricey. But I personally love Purina and Brew thrives on it. I know it’s not for everybody though. You could try Nutrisource or Inukshuk or Fromm maybe if not the big 5? Or 4 Health from TSC? Pure Balance from Walmart?

You could try Purina One. It’s still a good food but slightly cheaper. And has meaty bits in it that dogs love LOL

I've always recommended Diamond Naturals. I just switched Luna to the large breed lamb and rice for the glucosamine and chondroitin.

I haven't looked into a few of those yet, I'll check them out. I've also been looking at TOTW again

I think that’s a Pyr thing. My last dog (Pyr mix) did that. Plus as they get older and into adulthood they tend to slow down in their eating anyways. I think that’s normal. They self regulate a lot I’ve found. But definitely pick a good kibble and stick with it once you find one. Brew loves the Purina One and they have all different kinds. It’s decent priced too.
