Dog thread!🐾

It's not really a "last resort", I agree. But it IS more sharp of a reminder than the martingale. With my horse training background, I know that it's important to teach the animal to respond to the gentlest of commands. While using something "harsher" or just more abrupt in general can be helpful, the animal will no longer respond as well to those lighter commands. Obviously horses and dogs aren't the same, lol, but there is crossover.

Vet got back to us! Not really worrisome, probably fly bites. No need to go in unless it seems to be something else, but that's what it looks like. I'll just keep an eye on it and keep washing and fly spraying to make sure it doesn't get worse, or catch it if it does. It's the end of the season anyways, so in a few weeks I expect the flies won't be much of a problem. My biggest issue is occupying him in order to clean it. 😂

Glad it’s nothing serious!!!!!!!! Brew goes to the vet tomorrow. LOL
