Dog thread!🐾

Hi guys!! I'm happy to report that my family's dog is doing really well. She is still in the cone of shame, but the haunch laceration drain got taken out, and she's getting back to her energetic self (maybe a touch too soon, lol).
I got this picture today of her rolling in some leaves! The white on her right knee (? Hip??) is partly healing wounds, and partly where vet wrap has pulled the hair (any suggestions? I don't know if she's having the hair loss problem on the other leg, but if so, I'm sure my family would take pointers to minimize it. I'm not sure what kind of wrap it is or exactly how they are wrapping it.) signal-2025-09-05-11-43-28-830.jpg

Is the cone on all the time?
The hair loss could be from her chewing/licking her leg if so. Had this issue with Denver a couple weeks ago. She is so itchy right now due to season change. But mushroom supplements + coconut oil help.

If the cone is on all the time im not 100% sure why. Unless its a allergic reaction

Last night Denver got a 1/2 mile walk. We have been doing more strength exercises as i had noticed she was having a bit of trouble getting up to certain areas. Happened this time last year as it cooled down. My guess is arthitis and the cold makes it worse. But she is still running zoomies
Then i took Tucker to the large park that nobody is at unless there is a ball gam and i had gotten him a frisbee. He was doing really well catching it furthest catch was around 20 ft. And he recalled off of a crane. There was an eagle to but he didnt see it. On the walk home a beagle had started barking at him he looked let off 2 barks and continued walking. That’s sad Denver is having trouble with her being so young. Tucker is so cute!
