The interesting thing about weights is how much some of those solid built little guys can have in their tiny bodies

Easy-peasy fix for that! Just pull up the calculator on your computer/phone. There should be an automatic conversion feature.

Well, Google says that 70lbs is about 31kg.

That was the male. So the girl would have been around the 20-15kg mark.
For reference, my Cavalier is around 8kg.

So a boxer the size of two cavaliers, or a chunky Clumber

I haven't seen a Clumber Spaniel around here for decades. The ones I met were the sweetest dogs!
