Maybe he had dog dementia or something lol which is a real thing btw. Or maybe the shed looked extremely similar? IDK
Nope on both accounts. The shed has a brown wooden door while the back door is all glass. And you have to go up a flight of stairs to make it to the deck. And I can’t really explain how I know it wasn’t dementia but it’s just something you would be able to tell, you know?

Oh actually I can explain it, he did it for like nine years as he was really pretty young when my parents moved to this house

SQUAWKERTIE WHY ARE YOU ANGRY

He would literally bark at the shed door to be let inside because he forgot where our house was. And no he had 0 vision problems in the 11 years of his life
At 11 years of age it's very possible he was going blind. And yes, at that age he may well have forgotten where the house was. That doesn't mean he's stupid. Dogs do get age-related dementia just like people do. Old people wander around because they don't know where their house is. They're not stupid. Their mind is failing. He could have been barking at dust because he didn't know what it was. Poor old guy.

Oh wow that’s really weird then LOL

As a person with a barky dog, it's not stupidity. They really see a threat. Willows pretty good, only does her "scary bark" at home because she protects her home. She knows to stop once she sees I let the person in. She knows to not do that out in public too. She just has a boredom/demand bark issue when she waits in public...

He was like that his whole life, not just when old. He was a “replacement” for another dog who had some sort of issue that caused his lungs not to grow (at least I think that’s what it was). The breeder that he was from was supposed to have been good but my parents think she was just unloading a problem dog onto them.
