People have opinions...but I agree with you. Things happen, puppies are puppies and all we can do is prevent what we can and learn from rest. I am very glad to hear that your hen is doing better

and I wish you the best of luck finding her coop mate! I've been in your shoes (two stray dogs attacked two of my hens pretty badly...both survived, but were in the house for 3 weeks).
