Also quike question. Can dogs eat sourdough starter because I walked in to the office where the sourdough starter was next to the space heater to keep it warm and... my dog was eating it he are most of it. Google won’t give me straight answer, just asking if my dog has wheat allergies. I don‘t think he does. But all it can do at the most is make him sick right...?

Is sourdough starter bad for dogs?
As it turns out, sourdough bread IS bad for dogs. And if the bread is uncooked—meaning your dog ate raw dough—it can be even worse. “It contains yeast and may bloat in their gastrointestinal tract,” says Lou Anne Wolfe, DVM, at Will Rogers Animal Hospital in Oklahoma.
