I have no idea. She was a rescue. the pound said she was a beagle pomeranian mix- but I can't see any beagle. she looks like a miniature black lab to me. She is fat and still only weighs 16 lbs.View attachment 2479367

Yeah I don't really believe there are "bad" dogs. I worked at a no-kill shelter for a while in the large dog section. Lots of pitbulls that were deemed un-adoptable for various issues. It was amazing seeing 90% of them turn into loving trusting family dogs. The other 10% still deserved love and just needed a specific situation, like maybe no dogs or no kids at the home. It's incredible what dogs, and really animals in general, can bounce back from.

My Chiweenie, Jasper, was an abused dog. I got him at 10 months old and it has been years - he is now 9.5 yrs.- of working with him to get him to be less anxious and to be more social. He still has issues, but finally stopped urinating on himself when I would try to pick him up. With me, he is a little snugglebug. When company comes, he slowly sidles up to them to be petted, but does not like to be picked up by them. He does not like men, especially big men- barks incessantly at them- and has bitten one man who terrified him. God only knows what little boy has suffered.

Yes he kinda looks like Lady but she was a lighter orange
