Beaverdam, Va
my sweet boy ventured into the wrong territory where we keep our Pyrenees. He went over two fences. Anyway, he is fine other than a bare back and neck. I bathed him and put antiseptic on him and he fluffed nicely after a blow dry. I feel like though, I need to put something on his skin. He seems itchy. He’s in the screened in gazebo. Scared to let him out with his bare skin. He also gets chilled in the evening and early morning. Help please.

I'd coat the wounds with antibiotic ointment, keep him out of the sun, and make sure that flies do not get at the wounds. He should heal fine as long as there are no internal injuries.
