Love basset hounds, we bred them also with not as much success, they are much more difficult to breed than beagles.

I have been considering having a liter of Pitbull puppies, I have a beautiful female that if I don't breed soon she's going to be older than I feel comfortable with. Her and her mother love love love chickens and have never hurt a single bird, I'm hoping get a pup just like her and sell the rest, last liter I had was 10 and they all made it to adulthood and are as healthy as can be ^_^

Puppy fever (+_+)

Sadly pit bulls are the main breed seen in the shelters and are often put down even though many are wonderful dogs.

Most "pitbulls" are not pitbulls... my dogs are real American pitbull terriers. The overwhelming majority of "pitbulls" in shelters are actually American bully.

I only breed my pitbulls when I am sure I have a home for about 6, last time was 10 and I had no trouble after they were born finding 2 more people that wanted them. I kept 2. If you have nice dogs they are easy to get rid of.

My family used to breed beagles. Have you ever seen a lavender/lilac beagle ? They are adorable. We always had lemon, chocolate, and lavenders. I miss them. It's not an expensive dog to get into you can get fairly good breeding stock for a couple hundred, a male and 2 females, the county I live in is one of the biggest producers of pups though so prices are lower here.
I have, but I think I am going to breed tri-colored or lemon.... Possibly Chocolate but I will start out with tri. There is only 3 beagle breeders I know of in SC... so if I do breed I will be able to sell at higher prices. Now, in TN, I have seen at least 13 beagle breeders on one website!!!

And this is Berlin, the purebred German Shorthaired Pointer. On her birthday! As you can tell by her gray muzzle, she's an old lady. She'll be 13 next February.
