it's too bad it had the awful reviews, I wish something like that would work as advertised. My eyes can't take long periods of looking through the eyepiece and the screen would be nice.

I agree, the beauty of Costco I could take it back for any reason. I have old eyes also. I definitely want one one with a hookup to a monitor.
