That is a possibility.

I have found that sometimes it just happens. As I don't really know what the temperature was at egg level during the incubation it is all speculation.

The good news is all three appear totally normal and healthy.

if you don't mind me asking, what kind of incubator are you using? And I am so happy that they are doing well.

It says it's a Janoel24. It's one of those cheap ones off eBay, so I'm not sure if it's real or a knockoff. The instruction sheet was almost indecipherable, only seeing is temperature in °C, and it's all plastic.

Opened the incubator and pulled out the first three. Added more water and noticed two started to zip but stopped, possibly died, and one was piped and starting to expand the hole. The show no pips yet.

Looks like one is albino.
