Domestic geese hanging out with wild ones. Update: RESCUE SUCCESS

Okay, everyone! Together at 11:30 am PST, visualize the geese calmly following a trail of bread and corn, through the x panel tunnel and into the giant crate. See all birds and humans safe and uninjured.

Thanks for your participation

Well, we did it! There were a few false starts, which led us to believe that it might take a looooong time. But once the geese took the lead, the ganders followed and we were able to corral them in.
Video will be added later, but for now, here is a picture of Hockmangirl (left) and me in front of the successfully caged geese

Thank you all for your valuable input!

I am so proud of ya'll for sticking with it and rescueing them, I know you all are thrilled that it went so well. Thank goodness. from the way ya'll are dressed doesn't look like it would have been a very good day to have to get into the water. I am so happy for you all!!!!!

So any plans for the ducks now that the geese rescue went so well?

X2 and congrats! I'm sure they'll appreciate the warm barn and regular food, too. I hope you enjoy them.

We have eight little Geese happily home and ensconced in our barn! Filling their little tummies to their hearts content, drinking water, and preening away! Have a video I'm downloading now, and will upload ASAP!

Thanks for all the well wishes y'all! I truly believe you all helped make this happen!

Not that you wouldn't have. That crate was seriously tied down!

Yep, that thing didn't budge! I think they're sleeping right now, it's really quiet out there! The video is not the best quality. My camera doesn't do well with artificial light. It looks like it's pitch black in the barn! Which it's not, I swear! Ha ha! Trying to lighten it right now, so you can see the Geese a little bit better.

Okay, video quality is seriously poor. The colors are way off, because I had to up the tint, to be able to see the Geese. My camera was having a lot of problems with the artificial light, as it was starting to get dark already outside. There are four skylights in the roof of the barn, and one big Fluorescent light fixture in the middle. But it wasn't doing much for my camera, as you will be able to tell. I will take a better video and pictures, as soon as possible.

I was just in there getting some feed for the chickens, and they were "swimming" in their kiddie pool!

And they've already got it mucky the little boogers! Will be stripping it and washing it again, in the morning (and every morning), looks like!

Anyway, here is the video of them after they got home!
