Okay so this little silver Wyandotte is actually the leader of the flock. I come out one day and her feathers are all messed up. Pulled out and torn. I was furious. She was gorgeous before this happened.

When she laid the first egg they where not yet in the coop, they where in my garage. And I walked in too 2 of them taking nips at her. And for some reason she let it happen! She’s been the ruler of the roost since Day 1. Doesn’t let anyone near her treats, her food section, sometimes even me. She puts them right in line. But she sat there for this. They didn’t do any real damage. Maybe a few fluffy butt feathers, and on her back. I chased them off and guarded her... didn’t happen again.

About 3-4 weeks ago I come out and notice she’s all chewed up! (Pics) there where a bunch of feathers in the nest box. About 3 days later my GF noticed the black Australorp ( very very shy timid sweet bird) follow her in too lay and said she was bothering her. Almost like, “hey! Whatsup!! Notice me! Hey!” GF chased her out. Hasn’t happened again or to anyone else.

They are not feather pickers, doesn’t ever happen, besides the time in the garage Iv never seen anyone do it. It hasn’t gotten worse so it stopped. But they haven’t really grown back at all??? Is there anything I can rub on her or give her to help? Also worried they may be about to grow back in and someone nips them real quick on the sly?! I spend a lot of time with them and they never pick.
Any help appreciated thanks
