What is the emergency high glucose solution?Your hen appears to be losing ground. Often that happens when they reach a tipping point where they are so dehydrated and starved that they then become too weak to fight. I would try the emergency high glucose solution and syringe or tube it into her crop. Mix one teaspoon sugar into one cup warm water with a pinch of salt and baking soda. If you have Poultry Nutridrench on hand, put a hefty squirt of that in, also. Try to get at least a fourth of the cup into her. Try more in an hour. Keep this up until she is revived and eating and drinking on her own.
If you are practiced at tubing, that's the best way to get it into her. If not, syringe it like this.View attachment 3914639
