Dominique hen might be sick!!!!

When you syringe or tube fluids, you need to judge how full the crop already is. Usually, an adult crop will hold about half a cup of liquid. But if the crop is already half full, a fourth of a cup of liquid will be all you can get in.

You can sometimes assist a chicken in speeding up emptying the crop by gently supporting the lower crop so the contents flow into the proventriculus. View attachment 3914717
Awesome view thanks for posting!

Where do you have her? Is it warm? A very sick chicken can use a little warming to assist her metabolism. Heat a big towel in the dryer and wrap her in it after you've given her the sugary fluids.
I have her in my room in a dog crate covered so it dark . She has towels around her to hold her head up. I will heat one in the dryer . Sounds like a good idea 😊 It is warm in my room.

She is sitting right now, not making any noise when I touch her, and she seems to shift her position every so often. She has her eyes barely open, and seems to open them halfway or close them all the way at time. She also rubbed her head on her side and I heard her make a odd sound, almost like a sneeze.
She is also drooling a lot even though her crop is about almost empty .

She also made a snoring sound after sneezing.
