Just wondering.....
If Doms & BRs can be sexed as chicks by comparing the head spots, can other breeds like cuckoo orps be sexed in a similar way? I have 2 with nice round head spots with clear, crisp edges & several with irreg head spots &/or fuzzy, hazy edges.

The head spots to me are never as easy to "read" as some like to make it seem. The difference between a nice tight neat female spot and a larger looser sloppy male spot is hard to tell.

I actaully have the most trouble telling a young male legbar and the young male Doms apart, they look so alke for a couple weeks.

Of course, it does not matter much as no one wants either one...

Cackle. Just got one Dom (plus one EE, one Welsummer, and one Wyandotte). They all arrived very lively.
