I really want some. I'm currently the high bidder on an eBay auction with 10 minutes to go. I have a counterbidder showing interest, but I will perservere!

I'm so excited! I won the auction. The eggs will arrive just as I am clearing the incubator of my blue ameraucanas (fingers crossed for a good hatch!).

Brian, there are lots of breeders to order from, but it's getting a bit late in the season. You might want to check with Mike Stichler, you can search for Stichler Poultry Farm on this board and find his contact info, if hes not still hatching he should know someone that is.

I communicated with Mike a couple of weeks ago via email and he said he is sold out for the season.

This is a rather fuzzy picture of my four Dominique chicks. I assume that they are all either full or half siblings. Two each are lighter and have more distinct barring. The lighter color is what Centrachid opined were males. Any opinion on whether the darker ones might be pullets?

This is maybe a slightly better pic of the barring on the darker chicks.

I think darker chicks are female. Hold side by side a light colored male next to a dark colored female. Look at the feet and note what you see. Consider size and coloration.

Speckled Sussex. They are right nice and lively chicks also. I look forward to comparing them.
