This is one of the barred rocks the hatchery sent us 4 1/2 yrs ago. She still lays a couple times a week.The guy I split my order with lost all of his chicks at 6 weeks old to predators.

You'd think the wyandotte in the 2nd picture was raised with my other girls because they do everything together but she lived across the street with 30 chickens until her owners dogs killed her flock mates.
I've got 2 hatchery quality dominique's and they've never gone broody
