Yellow saddle pair and a black grizzle pair. They’re racing homers. Hoping to get them settled in quickly so they start heeing and sheeing and giving me little babies.

Wow they're beautiful birds! You sure don't hang about!View attachment 1683594 View attachment 1683595 They’re shipping out tomorrow y’all.
I’m NOT DONE WITH MY LOFT.
Talk about motivation. The temporary cage will house them for a little while but I would like to get them into their permanent quarters soon. Especially because I’d like babies.
Fifteen years without them and here they come.
Oh.
And I haven’t picked up feed yet.
That sounds like the best way! Oh and by the way don't know how these got here?!
I will break it to him when he comes home. Welder. He’s out of town... maybe I’ll send him pictures of my upgrades to the Java coop and casually include pictures of our new birds.
TO BE FAIR: I’ve been sending him pictures, videos, facts, and info on pigeons for a year now prepping him for the idea of them. He has slowly been won over.![]()
No worries. Pigeons are so personable they will complete the seduction when they meet him.
