that would look really sharp on rocks, over fireplace. but that particular mount is a great example of how the face should NOT look.. compare that pic to some other mounted photos, and compare those to a live cat in the wild. the mount you have shown has a drawn in mouth and nose. its eyes dont look natural at all. the mouth is drawn to the center and lips are puckered a little too much. the ears are also under stretched.. Most taxidermists do a good job until they get to the face. I do a lot of the tanning for a local taxidermist and have seen all kinds of animals mounted from axis deer to giraffes. Ive seen lots of horrid looking mounts too, which is why a lot of taxidermist dont start working without a deposit.
